Data Sources

The groundcover platform is built to be an all-in-one observability solution for cloud-native environments. It is built to ingest any data source directly into groundcover's backend.

By installing groundcover sensor, traces, logs and metrics are automatically collected. Read more about our Kubernetes installation here and for non-Kubernetes hosts here.

To get started with adding Data Sources, navigate to the data sources page in the platform.

Check the below references for more data sources:

groundcover Essentials

Use groundcover essentials to get 360 view of your platform - install groundcover sensor to monitor your clusters, instrument Telemetry using OTel, scrape metrics using Prometheus and Add RUM to monitor your users behavior.

Cloud Providers

groundcover allows you to pull Telemetry from your cloud providers. Check the below guides:

Saas Services

Stream logs from sources like Fluentd, Fluentbit, or Logstash. Metrics can be ingested via Prometheus remote-write or directly from agents like StatsD and Telegraf. Traces can be ingested from any application instrumented with OpenTelemetry or Datadog’s SDK.

AI Tools

groundcover supports ingesting telemetry data from AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw and Claude Cowork. Learn more about the integration here.
